About Al Amaan Trust

Serving with sincerity, guided by faith

Al Amaan Educational and Welfare Trust was founded in Mumbai with one vision: to stand by the poor, the forgotten, and the voiceless. Registered under the Society Registration Act, our trust works across Maharashtra to provide education, food, medical support, and dignified burial services for lawaris (unclaimed) bodies.

Our foundation is built upon honesty, accountability, and the spirit of service. Every donation we receive — whether zakat, sadaqah, or atiya — is used with transparency to fulfil its rightful purpose. We believe that no child should be denied education due to poverty, no family should sleep hungry, and no human being should be left without dignity even in death.

For us, service is not charity — it is responsibility.

Everything you need to know about our work

Our Trust focuses on three key areas: education for children who cannot afford fees, ration distribution for needy families, and dignified burial for unclaimed (lawaris) bodies. We also extend medical and emergency relief where needed. All of this is funded through zakat, sadaqah, and contributions from individuals and organizations.

We maintain proper accounts as per the Bombay Public Trust Act and Society Registration Act. All donations are allocated transparently: education, ration, medical relief, and burial services. No funds are used for personal benefit. We also have internal audits and maintain registers to ensure every rupee is traceable.

We assist anyone in genuine need, without discrimination of caste, religion, or background. Our criteria are based on poverty, helplessness, and urgency. For lawaris bodies, we directly coordinate with hospitals and authorities to ensure proper burial.

Yes. Our Trust is zakat-compliant, and we distribute zakat only among eligible categories such as the poor, widows, orphans, and the needy. Sadaqah and other donations are also used for welfare activities. You can contribute online or directly at our office.

Yes. Donors may request reports, photographs, or records of activities. We also share updates through our website gallery and blog section. Transparency and accountability are the foundation of our work.

Many organizations work on one cause. We cover multiple crucial needs: helping children stay in school, ensuring families have food, and giving dignity to unclaimed bodies. We serve across life and death — ensuring no human being is forgotten.

Zakat – A Sacred Responsibility

Turning faith into action

Zakat (almsgiving) is one of the five pillars of Islam and a mandatory act of worship for every eligible Muslim. It requires giving 2.5% of one’s wealth to those in need when the Nisab threshold is met for one lunar year.

At Al Amaan Trust, we ensure that your zakat reaches those who have a rightful claim over it — the poor, the hungry, the orphans, the widows, and the distressed. We do not divert zakat funds for administration or unrelated causes. Instead, we follow the principles of fairness and transparency as guided by the Qur’an and Hadith.

When you give zakat through our Trust:

Children continue their schooling without fear of being turned away for unpaid fees.

Families receive ration kits to survive hardship.

Helpless bodies are given proper burial, ensuring dignity even in death.

“And establish prayer and give zakat, and whatever good you put forward for yourselves – you will find it with Allah.”
